People of God,
Recently (November 2022) someone sent out a curation of prophetic words (series of blog posts this year) from an anonymous writer. I read through the rather lengthy document and was personally convicted in my own heart that I need to truly repent of complacency and lukewarmness, and for allowing giants to freely roam about in my own land (my heart, mind and body, and I believe it is a sure Word of The Lord to/for MANY of God’s people (all those who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ), not only in the North America, but across the entire gamut of “western” nations, if not the entire world!
Whenever we receive a hard, disciplining word of admonishment and/or warning from God, directly, through a brother (or sister) and/or through His prophets, we dare not cast it off, pass-the-buck or stone the messenger. On the contrary we ought to always weigh it carefully in light of scripture, discern the spirit of the message and then cry out for God to search our hearts to see where He may be calling for our own repentance. In the areas where we may have already personally overcome, like Nehemiah, we are to have a heart of intercession, willing to repent on behalf of the Church of God in fervent prayer, fasting and mourning.
Rend your heart and not your garments.” Now return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in loving kindness and relenting of evil. Who knows whether He will not turn and relent And leave a blessing behind Him, Even a grain offering and a drink offering For the LORD your God? (Joel 2:13-14)
Let the priests, the LORD’S ministers, weep (and mourn) between the porch and the altar, And let them say, “Spare Your people, O LORD, And do not make Your inheritance a reproach, A byword among the nations. Why should they among the peoples say, ‘Where is their God?’” (Joel 2:16-17)
When I heard these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. I said, “I beseech You, O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who preserves the covenant and loving kindness for those who love Him and keep His commandments, let Your ear now be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, on behalf of the sons of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have sinned against You; I and my father’s house have sinned. (Neh 1:4-6)
God is so very desirous to bring His kingdom into the earth, to judge the nations and bring about the reign of Christ the King… to manifest His glory in His people, that He would have dominion from sea to sea – to the end that the knowledge of the Lord would fill the whole earth! What really hinders the fulfillment and completion of His wondrous promises, in us as individuals, in us as His own Church/people/nation, as well as in the earth at large? Is it not the very same thing that disqualified Israel of old from bringing forth the Kingdom in their day, prior to Jesus Christ’s first coming; namely an apostate, idolatrous people, bent on going our OWN way, building our OWN kingdoms, and worshipping idols (IDOL: anything that comes between us and God – anything that is “anti-Christ”)?
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ (Mat 7:21-23)
Whenever God admonishes His people we are so very prone to respond in self-defence, self-justification, or a Pharisaical “can’t-be-talking-about-me” attitude, all of which are the fruit of pride, self-righteousness and self-deception. In Malachi we see how God knows the heart/s of His people and hears them questioning “How have we…?”
A son honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My respect?’ says the LORD of hosts to you, O priests who despise My name. But you say, ‘HOW have we despised Your name?’ (Mal 1:6)
You are presenting defiled food upon My altar. But you say, ‘HOW have we defiled You?’ In that you say, ‘The table of the LORD is to be despised. (Mal 1:7)
You have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet you say, “HOW have we wearied Him?” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and He delights in them,” or, “Where is the God of justice?” (Mal 2:17)
Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, “HOW have we robbed You?” In tithes and offerings. (Mal 3:8)
I believe the clear Word of The Lord — Returning Unto God From Our Own Ways In This Hour I and An Urgent Call To Action clearly reveal ad explain the “HOW”, in very pragmatic, experiential terms, that we, the people of God, have offended God (Isa 30:8-17) , HOW we are remaining in grievous bondage to the enemy’s tactics and ultimately HOW we are hindering the manifestation of God’s kingdom in the earth today.
It is abundantly clear, to anyone who has eyes to see, those lovers of the truth who have escaped/are escaping, the strong delusion and darkness sweeping the planet, that God is in fact doing what He promised to do before the coming of Christ in power to judge the world…
For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us FIRST, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? AND IF IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY THAT THE RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE GODLESS MAN AND THE SINNER? (1Pet 4:17-18)
See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him (His prophets) who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from HIM who warns us from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “YET ONCE MORE I WILL SHAKE NOT ONLY THE EARTH, BUT ALSO THE HEAVEN.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire.” (Heb 12:25-29)
The Lord says… “Many who say they are Mine, are like those who sit near a fire, to warm themSELVES. They are warmed by the fire of My presence and think that IS being close to Me, when in reality it is really only warming the flesh, whereas those who truly desire to be close to Me, to enter and manifest my unshakable kingdom in the earth, will jump INTO the fire and be CONSUMED!” ~ Mark Moore
